CCA Group, LLC is a small, privately held firm based in Boston that provides financial advisory services to companies active primarily in the renewable energy and energy infrastructure markets. CCA is a leader in both sell-side and buy-side financial advisory services for clients active in developing, owning, investing in, and operating utility-scale renewable energy projects and other complex capital assets. To date, CCA’s primary activities have involved raising capital (both debt and various forms of equity) for issuer clients, sourcing investment opportunities for institutional investors, and advising clients involved in complex M&A transactions.

CCA is seeking to hire a Director-level person to support execution of tax equity financing and M&A transactions in the utility-scale renewable energy sector. The successful candidate will be expected to interact on a routine basis with the firm’s leadership, deal professionals, analysts, and legal counsel. The desired start date is immediate.

Job Responsibilities

  •  Work (as part of a team) on behalf of sponsor and investor clients to successfully facilitate tax equity financings and M&A transactions in the renewable energy sector
  •  Manage transaction execution and financial closing process for multiple projects at various stages of development, providing superior service to all clients
  •  Assist clients and investors with coordination of diligence efforts leading up to financial close
  •  Coordinate communication among all stakeholders in each transaction to ensure that financial modeling, technical issues, and client concerns are addressed throughout the transaction
  •  Assist clients with the preparation of offering materials and lead investor outreach
  •  Support negotiations with client financing counterparties with respect to tax equity, construction debt, term debt, and other financial products
  •  Stay up to date on trends in the industry and communicate updates to clients and transaction teams

Qualifications

  •  5-8 years of experience with execution of tax equity or M&A transactions in the renewable energy sector
  •  Able to work both independently and on different teams
  •  Strong communication skills
  •  Client-oriented service commitment
  •  Organized and efficient
  •  Candidates with Series 7, 63, SIE, and 79 are preferred, but these licenses are not required in order to be hired (they would need to be obtained once hired)
