Boston, MA – CCA Group, LLC, a boutique financial advisory firm that provides premier capital markets and advisory services primarily in the renewable energy and energy infrastructure markets, is pleased to announce that Austin Schroll has joined the firm as Director – Execution. Austin brings over a decade of experience in renewable energy business development and equipment financing. He has extensive experience supporting client contract negotiations, including economic modeling. His experience includes the structuring and negotiation of long-term operational and maintenance agreements and supporting clients in the implementation of development strategies. In this role, Mr. Schroll will work with the firm’s transaction teams to provide superior project structuring and execution service. “Austin has widespread experience working directly with developers and sponsors on equipment and development strategies and will help support our sponsor client origination efforts,” said James Stahle, Senior Managing Director, and Partner. “His industry knowledge and existing relationships will be a great extension for our transaction teams and will help expand CCA Group’s expertise. Over the past decade, Austin has provided superior client services, focusing on renewable energy marketing, sponsor acquisition growth strategies, and economic modeling, and responsible for all commercial activity across 30+GW of operating assets.
Prior to joining CCA Group, Austin was a Vice President, Sales at Vestas. His teams were responsible for financial engineering, equipment specifications, contract negotiations, and operational agreements across 2+GWs annually. Prior to that, Austin led all commercial activity across Vestas’ operating assets, including new contracts where he led sales, marketing, sales operations, and negotiations across renewable assets from multiple original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Austin also has experience from positions at PowerSecure International and ASEA Brown Bovari.
Austin earned his MBA from Vanderbilt and a has a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
