CCA Group, LLC is a small, privately held firm based in Boston that provides financial advisory services to companies active primarily in the renewable energy and energy infrastructure markets. CCA is a leader in both sell-side and buy-side financial advisory services for clients active in developing, owning, investing in, and operating utility-scale renewable energy projects and other complex capital assets. To date, CCA’s primary activities have involved raising capital (both debt and various forms of equity) for issuer clients, sourcing investment opportunities for institutional investors, and advising clients involved in complex M&A transactions.
CCA is seeking to hire a Managing Director-level person to lead the origination, structuring and execution of tax equity financing and M&A transactions in the utility-scale renewable energy sector. The desired start date is immediate.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead a transaction team on behalf of sponsor and investor clients to successfully facilitate tax equity financings and M&A transactions in the renewable energy sector
- Originate and execute upon new client leads, as well as generate new business opportunities with existing clients
- Lead outreach to identify capital or assets for clients
- Manage transaction execution and financial closing process for projects at various stages of development, providing superior service to all clients
- Advise on structuring of, and support negotiations with counterparties with respect to, M&A, tax equity, construction debt, term debt, and other transactions
Qualifications
- 8-15 years of direct experience with origination and execution of tax equity or M&A transactions in the renewable energy sector
- In-depth understanding of the renewable financing market in the United States
- Able to work both independently and as a team leader
- Strong communication skills
- Client-oriented service commitment and strong existing relationships with active investors and sponsors in the renewable energy sector
- Candidates with Series 7, 63, SIE, and 79 are preferred, but these licenses are not required in order to be hired (they would need to be obtained once hired)
