Mike Choi, Senior Director, is an asset-backed financing professional with extensive experience in the energy and transportation industries providing sponsors and investors with a wide range of financial strategies, including planning, due diligence, and execution. As a lead facilitator in wind and solar opportunities, he applies his structuring, market analysis, and execution experience to ensure transaction success for CCA Group’s clients. Over the past 20 years, he has managed diverse transactions through his prior roles at developers and investment banks. Mike has been involved in both tax-oriented and debt capital investments that span over $6 billion of capital investments, representing over 3,000 MW of installed generation capacity.

Prior to joining CCA Group, Mike was Vice President in the Leasing and Asset Finance Division of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), where he focused on structured finance instruments in renewable energy projects and transportation industry.  Prior to MUFG, he held positions at Lanco Infratech and Noble Environmental Power.

Mike earned his MBA from University of Maryland and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of Pennsylvania. He is also a U.S. Navy veteran.

Mike holds Series 7, SIE, 63, and 79 licenses.
